Improving tools for measuring police performance and expertise in training and operational settings

Examining the role of expertise in police use-of-force decision-making

Multi-modal analysis of police body-worn camera recordings


Detecting and measuring procedural justice in police-citizen social interactions 

Assessing changes in public perceptions of police using large-scale data

Initiation and development of human-social chatbot relationships

Investigating emotional reactivity and police expertise in use-of-force decision-making

Persuasion in online verbal behavior using big data

Social support in human-social chatbot interactions

The development of common-ground understanding in computer-mediated communication
